The Arts

The Peconic Landing lifestyle is as diverse as the people who live here. Our award-winning cultural arts program is no exception. Some examples of our all-embracing passion for the arts:

A World-Class Sculpture Garden

The area’s first permanent outdoor sculpture exhibition is located on the grounds of Brecknock Hall. The sculpture garden showcases high-quality works by local and international sculptors that best complement and enhance this unique building and surrounding landscape.
Our art appreciation and accessibility program “Art Without Barriers: What You Hear is What You See,” harnesses the power of assistive technology to enhance access to art – not just for those with visual impairments, but for the sighted as well.

The sculptures can be seen in the 2017 Show Catalog. Newly remastered descriptive audio podcasts describing some of the sculptures can be downloaded from Soundcloud and our iTunes channel.

Eclectic Cultural Events

Whether its performances by world-famous ballet companies which have been captured LIVE in high definition or the renowned Manhattan Film Institute featuring screenings hosted by award-winning writers and directors; these are just a few of the countless opportunities you’ll have to immerse yourself in the arts right on the Peconic Landing campus.
